Michael brings over 13 years of energy transaction experience, financial modeling capabilities and deep industry relationships. Michael's roles at BluePath include developing new financing solutions, transaction execution and channel partner development.
Michael is a Northwestern Wildcat, Chicago Cubs, San Diego Chargers and Tottenham Hotspurs fan. Michael's long and painful wait for a championship finally came to an end with the 2016 World Champion Chicago Cubs. Michael was born and raised in Northwest Illinois and he, his wife, son and two daughters live in California. Michael received his B.S. from Northwestern University and J.D. from the Georgetown School of Law.

Matt provides extensive research, analysis, deal structure, and financial services expertise for BluePath. As CIO, Matt is responsible for managing and monitoring investment activity, Capital Markets initiatives, and Investor Relations. Previously, Matt was a Senior Associate at Citadel Investment Group responsible for sourcing and managing a $200 billion balance sheet within the Group.
Born and raised near Chicago, Matt is a proud Chicago Cubs fan. He now lives in San Francisco with his wife and three children. Matt loves to ski, golf, fish, and explore the outdoors. Matt received his B.S. in Finance and Economics from DePaul University and his M.B.A. from The University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business.
Mark DavisManaging Director, UK
Mark brings over 15 years of experience as a UK-based energy equity analyst and renewable project financier. He brings a deep understanding of the energy and capital markets, excellent industry relationships and a passion for sustainability.
Mark tries to keep fit, ideally through snowboarding. Mark, his wife and their two young daughters live in London. He holds a degree from Bristol University (MEng) and is a CFA® charterholder.
Luk VerdonckManaging Director, UK
Luk brings over 16 years of experience in energy and commodity markets and chemicals. He gained deep industry expertise while working for multi-national firms such as E.ON, Louis Dreyfus and Ineos in Germany and the United States. He has been involved in numerous project development initiatives and has extensive investment analysis experience.
In his free time, Luk enjoys traveling and golf, while his sporting allegiances reflect an interesting childhood in both Europe and America. Luk holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago and an M.B.A. from the University of Oxford.

As Senior Transaction Manager, Todd brings significant financial modeling and research and operational expertise to BluePath. Todd manages and oversees all BluePath transactions, with a focus on project modeling and structuring, financial underwriting, project closing, and on-going transaction servicing.
Todd honed his skills prior to BluePath as an analyst at SFRi LLC, a boutique advisory and investment firm.
Todd spends his free time playing soccer, skiing, mountain biking, and golfing (with a few trips to the emergency room here and there). Todd is passionate about agriculture and has worked on numerous farms, including an olive farm in Spain. Todd received a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in Spanish Linguistics from Loyola Marymount University.
Sarah StarbirdOperations Manager

Sarah manages several of BluePath's operations, including transaction closings, customer relationships, and marketing campaigns. She draws from a long career in commercial and residential lending and corporate operations.
In her free time, Sarah can be found coaching the local high school mountain biking team, cycling with friends or running the trails with her three dogs. Sarah earned a B.A. in Business Administration and International Finance from Boston University.
